AN: Horror Opening Feedback
Strengths
- Pull in on Dan when talking to the psychiatrist looks good
- Chase scene well shot and smooth
- Choice of font is good
- Shot of the toaster works well
- Cut at end of the psychiatrist scene good
- Sound Build over end of interview good suggests panic
- Storyline is easy to follow
- Nice variety of shots
- Editing smooth
- Reverse guitar unique and adds character
- Background music tense
- Concept was liked by most of the people i had shown it to
Weaknesses
- Sound balancing sometimes inconsistent
- Dan smiles as he takes down the note
- Bedroom TopHat reveal feels bizarre
- Pitch of Dan's voice in the bedroom scene strange
- Cuts on stair scene confusing
- Chase feels out of character
- Hat over the camera feels cheap
- Last title reads strangely due to choice of font
- Cross dissolve between scenes had mixed feedback
- editing at points is too rapid and could be slower
